Taco Bell has recently brought back several fan-favorite items. In early August, they reintroduced the Beefy Crunch Burrito, which features seasoned beef, reduced-fat sour cream, rice, nacho cheese sauce, and Flamin’ Hot Fritos.
This item was first introduced in 2010 and had a brief but impactful presence before its discontinuation in 2011. Its return in 2024 was decided by a fan vote in March, where it won against the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco.
In addition to the Beefy Crunch Burrito, Taco Bell also revived the Double Decker Taco in December. This item consists of a bean-filled tortilla wrapped around a taco shell, filled with seasoned beef, lettuce, and shredded cheddar cheese.
It’s available for a limited time, having been previously discontinued from the menu in 2019.
Another notable return is the Volcano Menu, which came back after a 10-year hiatus. This menu includes the Volcano Taco, Double Beef Volcano Burrito, and the option to add Lava Sauce to any entree.
The Volcano Menu first debuted in 1995 and was brought back due to popular demand from its dedicated fan base.
These returns demonstrate Taco Bell’s engagement with its customers and their preferences, often bringing back popular items based on fan demand and votes.
